Where The Wild Things Are Birthday Party

My baby is two! Time flies when you’re having fun. 🙂  My boys love the book Where The Wild Things Are so I wanted to make a birthday party out of that theme. Here’s a few pictures from Atlas’ special day.

Where The Wild Things Are Birthday Party:

Does the banner look familiar? If you didn’t read my previous post, my sister-in-law made it for Saelor’s birthday so of course I had to use it again. She also made the food name tags.

Some $8 juice pitchers from Walmart and an old crate made the drinking station practical and cute.

Pretzels with melted chocolate are always a big hit for all ages.

I ordered this 8×10 printable on Etsy from SKPrintables.

moss ball.jpg

For the Moss Balls, I used a pimento cheese dip and added fresh parsley on the outside.

I ordered printable cupcake toppers on Etsy from Toad Hollow.  It came with six images to one sheet of paper. I cut and glued them to toothpicks.

teeth gnashers.jpg

Teeth Gnashers were a cool idea, but didn’t taste all that great. I used large marshmallows dipped in melting chocolate and crushed graham crackers. If I were to make them again, I’d use actual Hershey’s chocolate and maybe go with a smaller marshmallow.

claws

Bugles worked great for Claws and tasted yummy too!

wild fruit.jpg

With the new year comes new years resolutions and diets. Wild Fruit came to the rescue for a few girls. 😉

sail away jello.jpg

The kids loved Sail Away Jello. I used blue jello and added a tangerine slice with a toothpick paper sailboat.

gift bags.jpg

I used brown paper bags with the cupcake topper printables for the gift bags.
